The collections

Four collections, each with its own kind of light.

A collection here is a closed thought rather than a season: a single decision about metal, stone and hour, held long enough to become recognisable.

The three categories

The same pieces, sorted by where they are worn. Every piece in the house belongs to one collection and one category, and the two rarely agree, which is the point.

A collection is a closed thought. A piece is the only thing in the house that was ever going to be made once.
