Find the bench, the collection, or the piece.

The house is small enough that the fastest way to the right place is usually one of these, rather than a general enquiry.

Enquiry

Write to the house.

Say which piece, which collection or which chapter you are after. Everything here is routed by hand, in the order it arrives.

Where to start

  • A piece you have seen

Every piece belongs to one collection and one category, and either route will reach it.

    The collections
  • How something is made

The atelier sets out the materials and the five chapters a piece passes through, in order and in full.

    The atelier
  • The reasoning

The journal keeps notes on how the collections were decided.

The House of Light is a front-end demonstration. There is no workshop to visit and no office to write to; any address, telephone number or registration would be invented, so none is shown.

A piece is a duration, not an object. The film is the long take.
