Stones falling at staggered intervals, none of them aligned.
Seven stones on graduated links, each hung a fraction lower than the last. No two stones ever sit at the same height, so the earring never reads as symmetrical.
The piece
Symmetry is the easiest thing to photograph and the least interesting. The stagger here was chosen to make the piece look different on the left and the right, which is true.
